We have a problem at my work, we set up and presentation
on PPT 2000 from one of our PC on our network. We have
one slide that has 4 movies on it and it plays fine from
the main pc the presentation was put together. We tried
view the presentation from another pc (labtop) and see
the movies as still images but the movies will not play.
When you try right clicking on the movie and click play
movie, there is an error message that appears (something
that the driver is not install on this computer) what
could cause this and how to fix it. This presentation is
due this afternoon.

The primary pc was running PPT2000, had Windows media
player 9.0 and is on Windows 2000 professionnal

The Labtop PC is also running PPT2000, has Windows media
7.0 and is running Windows ME.

Hope this helps any thanks and any feedback would be
appreciated

Yup, and, assuming that the error msg really says something about a missing
codec, be sure to read up on those at
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/multimedia.htm (It's the
first link on the page TAJ sent you to.)

Dear User,
If Echo and TAJ's help has solved your prob. then its fine.

Though I know PPT supprts AVI but still If you want to explore a new thing,
i.e. to convert avi to some other format which may be supported by PPT.

Just search in www.google.com for a converter like AVI to MPEG,MOV,etc. Then
download it ..... I think the rest you can do.
