My PC with office 2003 and using netscape messenger as
default email service. However when I using
powerpoint2003's "send to (as attachment)" function, it
prompt up a error msg "The mail service can't be loaded.
Make sure your email is installed correctly". The function
is working fine with word2003 and excel2003. Anyone know
what going on with this? Even I changed with Mozilla as a
email client and it still not working. Coz I don't want to
use outlook.
Many Thanks

Jack,

Did you find the solution for this? I have same problem.
I was wondering PowerPoint2003 dosen't support Netscape
Messenger with this function.

thanks.

Same problem with  Eudora.  Word and Excel connect to Eudora just
fine, PowerPoint doesn't.  Error message as noted in Jack's original
post.  I just upgraded from office 2000 to 2003; this feature worked
fine with the older version (PowerPoint2000). Since the problem
appears to be common across several MAPI servers and since I'm not
having the same problem with  Word2003 and Excel2003  (and the older
PowerPoint didn't either), looks to me like it's specifically a
PowerPoint2003 problem.  Can't find anything in the Micrsoft Knoweldge
base on it yet.  Tried the "Detect and repair" tool to no avail.  Hope
somebody figures this out before too long.

this one is strange.  I have a user experiencing it with Powerpoint
2003 (only) and Eudora.  Instead of the File > Send to > Mail
Recipient (as attachment), try Mail Recipient (for Review) as a
workaround.  This is working ok for me.
