PPT 2003 WMV movies were set to With Previous and tested for automaitc
playback.  They worked fine in a PPT view.  The project was saved using Save
As Web Page.  They will not automatically play.  I've built websites that
allow me to call and automatically play a movie.  What prevents such from the
web version in PPT 2003?

Do the movies play when you run the HTML from your hard drive?  Can you provide
an URL so that we can see what's happening?

As inidcated in the original post, I have experience with HTML so I 'went a
huntin' in the source code, found the video controls area and realized that
even though I had play automtically turned on before the conversion, the
AutoStart value was still set to 0.  A few corrections, a few additions and
the Web Version is playing even better then I hoped!  I still can't explain
why wtih the settings set to auto play in PPT 2003, that the properties
didn't carry over to the web version built thru PPT 2003.  Your guess is as
good as mine.  OR better yet - have you saved movies in auto play and
experienced such in a web conversion?
