When I choose to add a shadow on my text, the shadow color is not always the
one I want it to be.  Is there a way to change the shadow color?  Thanks

Powerpoint has 2 ways of adding a shadow to text.

The "text shadow" tool (next to bold , italic , underline) marked "S". will
turn the text shadow on/off.

The color of the shadow is determined by the background color in the color
scheme.

If the background is black, the shadow will be white, if the background
contains 20 (of RGB), then the shadow will be black.

On a white background the shadow is gray.

The other shadow tool, can be used to add *any* color you like to text and
other objects, It's located on the "draw" toolbar along the bottom edge. It
even has it's own toolbar.

Cheers

Thank you!  The shadow in the draw toolbar was not an option I looked at
before.  However, one day, I'd still like an option of outlining the font.  I
enjoy putting photos as the backdrop and I basically need a subtitling font,
but that's not possible as far as I know.
