What is a method, if any exist, to change the color pallet of chart
elements - specifically the two rows of colors on the bottom within the
Patterns tab of Format Data Series. The dialog box I speak of can be
accessed with a double click on a chart series.

I understand how to change the first six colors using the color scheme,
but can the others be changed?

Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks. And thanks, Echo. Your tutorial showed me I first had to have a
chart active before I could find what I needed in Tools|Options. I'll
play with it more later.

Gregg,
You really can't keep the new colors you set so you should consider
using Excel for charting which does keep alll 56 custom colors
indefinitely.
