Hi,

In version 2000 of PowerPoint, how do I UNDO the Snap to Grid feature overall?

I realize that I can temporarily undo it as I drag on an object by pressing
the Alt Key, but I prefer to have it completely shut off.

I look forward to your response. Thanks, everyone, for all of your help!

Go to Draw > Snap and de-select "To Grid" by selecting "To Shape".  Later
versions of PowerPoint give you much more control and you can determine grid
size, etc.

Snap to grid toggles on and off in PPT 2000.  Click Draw, Snap, then click To
Grid.  It changes appearance, though only slightly.
