Why does the capture video rectangle disappear when I try to run .

When I try to capture video with Producer, I get as far as placing the
rectangle but when I push start (or go or whatever)the main Producer project
pops up and the rectangle goes away. Thus, nothing is captured. What am I
doing wrong?

Windows XP, PP2003, just downloaded latest version of Producer.

You might want to post in the Producer newsgroup.
