I have a presentation that is set to advance slides automatically after 5
seconds. How do I stop or pause then resume?

Press the "S" key to pause it.  Press "S" to resume it.  Keep in mind that
the timing will start at the beginning of the next animated object (slide).
Meaning if you pause it 3 seconds into a five second timing, when you
"un-pause" it will start at the beginning of that five second timing.  At
least, this is what I have seen in the past when using it.

You can see more of these features by clicking the F1 key while in Slide
Show Mode.

Good Luck!

I tried the s key as well as the F1 key and no luck. Any other suggestions?

Open PowerPoint, open the presentation, click "Slide Show", "Set up show"
and see if it is set up to be "Browsed at a KIOSK".  If so, change it to be
"Presented by a Speaker".

Did that work?
