I cannot see any of my text in Outline View.  Some of my slides have white
text and some have black so I am not sure what is going on.  At first I
thought they weren't viewable because I was using white text.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Where are you putting your text? The only text that shows up in Outline View
is text in placeholders (those funny boxes that say Click Here to Add Text).
If you make your own text boxes, the text won't show up in Outline View.
