powerpoint can't play videos-please help

Powerpoint 2003 allows me to insert video and it plays on any computer except
mine.  I simply get a blank screen when I attempt to play the video.  The
video's are all MCI compatible and play on other machines in powerpoint.  Any
idea's what is wrong with my computer. Thank you

Can you play the videos in any program on your computer?
