Office 2k3 with all features installed. We are able to open the chart but
when we try to edit the chart we get the error "The Microsoft Organization
Chart Server application can't be found. Contact your system administrator to
install this server application"
You have 2 choices on the error, OK and Help. If you open help it tells you
"Microsoft Organization Chart is not installed
The Microsoft Organization Chart OLE server program is not installed on this
computer. To edit an organization chart object, you must have Microsoft
Organization Chart installed. To install this program, contact your system
administrator for assistance."
How do we get this installed?

Here is the info that I was provided that resolved the issue. Sorry they
didn't have a KB #
SYMPTOMS
If you create stand-alone Microsoft Organization Chart 2.0 (*.opx) files in
versions of Microsoft Office that are earlier than Microsoft Office 2003, you
cannot insert these Organization Chart files into Microsoft Office PowerPoint
2003. If you try to edit an Organization Chart object that was created in an
earlier version of Office, you may receive the following error message:
The Microsoft Organizational Chart server aplication can't be found. Contact
your system administrator to install this server application.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because Office 2003 includes a new version of Organization
Chart. The new version of Organization Chart is built into the diagramming
feature in Office 2003, and not a separate tool like Organization Chart 2.0.
The new version of Organization Chart cannot edit existing Organization Chart
2.0 objects or import stand-alone .opx files that are created in earlier
versions of Organization Chart.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, download and install the earlier version of the
Organization Chart 2.0 utility. After the Microsoft Organization Chart 2.0 is
installed, you can use the utility to import stand-alone .opx files by using
the Insert Object command.
Here is the link to the download.

Even though you installed to the D: files do get copied to the c: also. Have
you tried to run the install and test it?

Yes I had installed it and tried running it but I get the same error message
which is what showed me that it was installing toi the other drive than the
one office is installed on. Ran it on a machine that has office on the C: and
it works perfectly.
