need help saving an image

A colleague has emailed me an image she created in power point. I do not have
PP, just the viewer. I need to be able to use this image as her logo on her
website. I can get the image to open in Word, FrontPage, and PP Viewer. When
I copy it into Paint, the quality is diminished too much to be useful. Is
there a way to get this image into a format I can use (i.e., jpg, bmp, png)?
I am out of ideas.

What does it look like it you use a screen grab (prt scr button located above
the insert button on your keyboard)?

Thanks for the suggestion! I was able to paste the image into both
Illustrator and PictureIt. Now for the next question: Is there a way to make
the image background transparent? Thank you so much!

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with Illustrator or Picture It.

Have her open the PPT file, choose File, Save As and pick WMF as the save-as
type, then send you the WMF.
