I have a simple problem I am running XP with a Matrox P750 with 2 screens, I
want to run a powerpoint presentation on  screen 2 whilst working normally on
screen 1, the presentation works fine on screen 2 until you run another
application on screen 1 at this point the presentation pauses until you click
on the minimised Powerpoint Slide Show sitting on the Taskbar.

Thanks

This is by design of PowerPoint. Look at PowerShow at
http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html for an add-in that allows
you to workaround this problem.
