First Level, Second Level Bulleted List

Okay...  I cannot remember how to do this...

I am adding a bulleted list to a slide show...  I add the first level
and then tab out to the second level and add the second level info.  I
want to go back to the first level and add my second main point, but
when I hit enter, it goes to the second level again...  If I hit back
space, I cannot get back to the first level.  Please, help because I am
drawing a blank on how to return to the first level...

You have to combine Shift+Tab to go back to first level bullet points.
(Make sure that the cursor is at the beginning of the line.)
