I have an object shaped as a ship. I move the object along a path down a
river. I would like to know if there is a way to have the aspect of the
object to be parallel to the path

Hi,
If you are talking about animating ship using motion path, you can use
Emphasis (Spin) effect to change the aspect. Set the spin effect to "With
Previous".
Then, right click on the effect, click Timing. Adjust the delay to a time
where you want the ship to start changing the aspect.
You will probably need to play around with the amount and speed setting to
get an accurate one.
