How can I insert mhtml files into a powerpoint presentation?

I'm using powerpoint 2003. I've saved the webpages I want to put into my
presentation as mhtml files but can't insert them using 'Insert Picture'.

You could try inserting a hyperlink to those pages so that they would open
when you needed them, then you could close them when you were finished.  
Since it's not actually a picture, you wouldn't be able to insert them as
pictures unless you took screen captures & inserted those pictures.
