Thanks, yes that is what I want.
However I would probably want the words to appear when the slide is
first rendered and then each one will individually (one at a time)
blink.
By blink, I mean the font changes color (perhaps brighter) and the font
gets larger. Then everything (font) goes back to normal and another
word "blinks".
Perhaps that is a better way to describe it.
Thanks!
So here's a summary of what you want to do:
1. All the words appear.
Solution - Highlight all the words, click Add effect > Entrance > Appear.
2. Brighten the word. One at a time.
Solution - Select one word first, click Add effect > Emphasis > Change font
color. (Under modify effect, select a color you want)
3. Enlarge the word, reverse it back. One at a time.
Solution - Click Add effect > Empahsis > Grow/Shrink
(Right click on the effect, select effect options. Put a checkmark to
Auto-reverse. Click OK)
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on other words now.
Hope it helps.

If you leave all the words selected, you can apply the two Emphasis effects
to all of them at the same time. Before you deselect the animations, set
them all to "After Previous". Now, one by one, select the Grow/Shrink
animations and drag them up under the Change Font animation for that box.
