I have a PowerPoint Presentation and the sound works on one computer fine.
I've burned the CD including the songs in Winamp wav files.  When I play it
on a laptop the song does not play - Could it have something to do Media
Player and Winamp player not having the same settings as the original
computer?  And how could I change the settings for the laptop to recognize
all types of files?
Thanks

Have a look here

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentation

I have a similar problem.  My audio clip (linked) plays fine across multiple
slides as long as the clip is started from the beginning.

However, if I set the clip to begin at an advanced stage (e.g. Custom
Animations -> Effect Options -> Start Playing from Time 00:0x), then the
slides stop auto-advancing (i.e. the slideshow remains on the current slide
until the entire clip is finished playing).

Any suggestions? I'm on XP.
