Palying a movie file behind a mask

Is it possible to play a moive file (mpeg) behind a mask (png)? When I run
the slideshow, the movie pops to the top of the mask.

I can convert the moive and the mask, if other formats work better.

Movies play in front of native PowerPoint shapes. As a workaround, you might
want to look at:
Show text over video
