My grandson has sent me a PP photo presentation with sound.  He has MS Office
2003 Professional.  I have MS Office 2000 Professional. I cannot hear his
sounds.  Must I have Office 2003 also?

Nonna,
Most probable cause is that the music has not been embedded but linked. So
it will play on your grandsons computer but not on yours.
Have a look here on how to embed sound in a presentation. If your grandson
follows the instructions all should go well.
