My wav files are all larger than 50000. I guess that is why they dont
embed.
I cant remember ever seeing wav files smaller than 50000. Where can I find
Info on how to reduce them. Mose of mine run 150k or more.
Hi Neil- The key question is was the music REALLY embedded.
Check on your computer by right clicking the sound icon and > edit sound
object
Does it say "file -contained in presentation"? If instead theres a path to
the file it isnt embedded.
You can only embed wav files and to do so you need to make the value in
tools > options > general "link to sounds etc" larger than the sound file
size (you can go to 50000) You must do this before you insert the sound

yup ..
typical 44 kHz 2 channel 16 bit wav audio .. roughly 10 Mbytes/min of
content.
typical MP3 is compressed to about 1/10 that (or about 1 Mbyte/min of
content)

I set mine for 25KB, did all the other steps as you instructed but it still
wont play for people to whom I send it and they are mostly using Windows XP.
Any other suggestions?
