I downloaded Microsoft Office Powerpoint Viewer 2003 in order to view power
point presentations attached to e-mails. The program opens up successfully,
but the slides do not advance automatically. I must click my mouse to advance
them individually. How can I get the slides to advance automatically as a
slide show? Thanks.

You cannot edit with the viewer. Unfortunately the only way is for the sender
to modify the presentations for you.

When I first downloaded the PP viewer, I would copy PP presentations that
were e-mailed to me to "My Documents" and was able to view them as slide
shows. Subsequently, I  was able to apply the PP viewer to open up the PP
e-mail attachments directly in Outlook Express, so that I wouldn't have to
copy each one to "My Documents." Since doing that, however, the sldie shows
that previously advanced automatically when opened in "My Documents" now can
only be advanced manually. This suggests I may have inadvertently altered a
setting. Any advice on how to fix this? Would deleting, then reintalling, the
PP viewer be a possible solution? Thanks.
