I inserted a table via the slide layout pane.  Then I added a column and a
row via the table tool bar.  However, the table didn't resize itself like a
placeholder/text box would.  The added column and row are outside the slide
and I had to resize the table manually.  Is there a better way?  Am I missing
something?

PPT does its best to size the table to the placeholder when you first
double-click to add the table. After that, though, you're on your own.

Echo,

Thanks for your response.  I was hoping that there was a better way.  Guess
not.
