I am having trouble importing images into PP from a new digital camera, on
only one computer.  Images from other digital cameras or with the same PP
presentation on another computer import into PP fine.  Images from the new
camera import inot PP on another computer fine as well.  When imported, the
images look like negatives, in hughes of pink, red and yellow or sometimes
B&W, sometimes causes a PP shutdown, work is recoverable though.

How are you importing the pictures?

Steve:

I'm using the dropdown toolbar option "Insert - Picture - from file"

OK, good.  That's the best way to go about it and it sidesteps some other potential
problems.

Some cameras include information that PPT doesn't understand (some EXIF data, if
memory serves, but I only thought that loudly; I didn't say it aloud, so don't
quote me, 'kay?)

In any case, as a test, try opening the files in an image editing program and save
to e.g. PNG or another format that doesn't support EXIF and import those.
