I was told that I should remove the title/subtitle placeholder/textbox before
I insert WordArt.  Not sure why.  I had no problem placing WordArt in the
placeholder.  Also, I remember with MS Word it is okay to put WordArt in a
textbox.

Can someone shed some light to this please.

Thanks.

Epinn,
A WortArt object will be on top of the placeholder not in it. Try to move
the placeholder and you will see that the WordArt does not move with it. If
I where you i would use the 'only title layout/or the blank one' no need for
a title subtitle layout especially if you don't type in it. If you don't
type in the placeholder it will not show up during the show.
