fuzzy slides when transitioning

When I use the transition button for my presentation, the numbers & words
appear fuzzy on the big screen.  Any one have suggestions?

I think you mean animations, not transitions (these are different in
PowerPoint).

Text on slides does become fuzzy, in some cases, when any animations are
added to a slide.
