I finally figured out where to look for this drag and drop ..
http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ppt-user.de%2Fstart.htm
&langpair=de%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=%2Flanguage_tools
if that doesn't work type drag into the search box on the site and then
look for something call vba corner - a good chunk of it is already in
english.
Yes, that's the webpage we (a team of German PowerPoint enthusiasts)
maintain - but I didn't want to post any link in this newsgroup, as we are
planning a relaunch of the website very soon and all URL's will change.
In case of any questions regarding that Drag&Drop Macro, please contact me
via E-Mail: ute "at" ppt-user "dot" de. I will try to answer your questions
myself or forward them to our programmer.
Best regards,
Ute

Do you know if there's an English version of the book on the site?

If you are referring to the "PowerPoint-Ideenbuch" ("Book of
PowerPoint-Ideas") - no, it's currently only available in German.
