I have copied sections of an Excel spreadsheet into PowerPoint and they
update ok but I want to have it so that the links automatically update whilst
the presentation is showing.  How do I do this?

AJH,
The functionality for this has changed since PPT 97 where it worked
seamlessly if the Excel file was open. It no longer does that so you
would have to resort to VBA to do this during a screenshow. Possibly
the easiest way would be to tie into the worksheet change event to
fire the necessary VBA code to PPT to update the links.
