will powerpoint work with a Millennium Edition

I can't seem to get powerpoint to work properly.  Mail is being sent to me
but the attachments (which are study questions from my teacher) won't open.
(there're not even highlighted).

powerpoint is not installed on every new computer (windows xp, 2000 or even
ME)

In addition to TAJ's information, if you save the presentations to your
harddrive, you can view them with the free PPT Viewer (if you don't have
PPT) or with PPT itself. But it may not work if you're trying to open them
from the mail application. See

I know this says Windows XP SP2, but I'm thinking maybe it's an issue with
Windows ME also.
