Everything was fine, but needed to do a reboot, now the same movies won't play in Powerpoint but will at the same time play in Windows Media Player powerpoint uses mplay32.exe to play movies. In sounds like you have it. Again, I am using PowerPoint 2003 & Windows Media Player 10. The movie plays in WMP but not in PowerPoint. You can either identify what codec is needed (with GSpot) and install it on your machine and any machine you may want to distribute it to, or you can convert it to a standard Windows format.
