I am trying to insert a slide without changing my slide numbers that I
already have.  I need to insert slides 12a and 12b.  I have done this before;
however I do not remeber how to accomplish this.

Hi Lynn,

there is no option for such a number.  Either insert the slide number
manually on every slide instead of using the placeholder on the master.  Or
insert the two additional slides at the end of the presentation, hide the
real slide number with a box in which you type 12a and 12b. Then use a
hyperlink from slide 12 to 12a, and from 12b back to 13.

Best regards,
Ute
