Trying to download a powerpoint presentation off of a cd to my computer, but
obviously don't have the right "stuff" in my computer to do so. Any
suggestions?

The easiest way is to Open Windows Explorer, navigate to your CD and drag
the .ppt/pps file to your desktop or file folder on your Hard Drive

Kind of a vague description of the problem, I'm afraid.
Given that, the answer might be "Get the right stuff".  ;-)

What have you done, what did you expect to have happen as a result, what
happened instead and what, if any, error messages did you see along the way
there?
