I have a slide master with specific bullet point formatting specified.
I have a regular slide with bullet points on it, but the formatting,
for one reason or another, is not correct (same as Master).

How the heck do I get PowerPoint to just reapply the master layout and
apply the correct bulleting, and get rid of whatever is there now? I
dont see an obvious menu/button to do this simple task

Is this possible, or do I have to delete the slides, and start over?

Are you using PPT 2003 or XP. If so...in the taskbar choose Slide Layout, for
the slide that is messed up then select the down arrow beside Title and Text
Layout then Reapply Layout. Can't remember how for earlier versions.

Sometimes this occurs because someone has placed bulletted text in a text
box rather than in the correct place. If so, cut the text in the text box and
paste into the correct placeholder then repeat as above.

Is that clear.....?
