Need a way to lock a pwrpt pres so it can be used but not changed

We are preparing a powerpoint presentation to be circulated to our trainers
throughout the world.  The problem is that we need the presentation to be
secure on the cd-rom so that it has to be done as given and not changed by
anyone.  Is there a way to lock up the presentation so it cannot be changed?

If you are using PowerPoint 2002/XP and above,
Go to Tools > Options > Security. Set a password from there.
For PowerPoint 2000 and below, this feature isn't supported. But there are
some other ways to workaround with.
