I am trying to animate one line of text at a time. When I highlight one line,
select the way I want it animated, PowerPoint is grabbing the next line at
the same time. I want them to "wipe" in individually. They are questions and
answers. In other words, even though I just highlight the question, the
answer is also being animated. I keep trying to highlight and animate one
line at a time, but it's not working. Does anyone know how to get this to
work? Each line of text is not bulleted. (I'm using PowerPoint 2003.)

Did you hit Enter after each line or Shift+Enter?

will work even if the text doesn't have bullets.
