I need to have a list of items that scrolls horizontally at the bottom
of one my slides.  Can anyone offer any advice?  I would like to be
able to do this in Powerpoint 2000, but could probably find a new
version if necessary.

Thanks in advance!

Place your text at the right of your slide (outside its borders)
Use the Fly In (from left) animation
Adjust speed as needed
