I would like the ability to break up my slide presentation into different ppt
files to make if easier for others to work in parallel in adding information.
When showing the presentation I would like to automatically exit out of the
presentation if the user selects the hyperlink to prevent numerous ppt to be
running. Is there a way to do this without forcing the user to also use Esc
to exit out of previous ppts?

Instead of inserting a hyperlink use an Action Setting and set it to End Show.
