I set up a video clip in a PowerPoint presentation. It plays fine on my end,
but when I email it to someone, it does not play. Why? Also, that same
thing happens when they send me a .ppt file with a video clip added...I
cannot view it.

Probably the link is broken.
To resolve this, create a new folder, move the ppt and video into the folder.
Now, open the ppt file, delete and reinsert the video to create a pathless
link.
Then, save your presentation.
Email both the presentation and video.
