in my master slide i have a box that reads "title area for AutoLayouts". I
want to add another box like this, but when I copy and paste it doesn't allow
me to edit outside of the master slide. How can I add another box like this?

Phxlatinoboi,
If you are talking about the placeholders on the master, then I'm afraid
this is not possible. It will be in Office 2007 though.
