MS Office Forum / General PowerPoint Questions / June 2006Power Point video plays too large
I am creating a Power Point presentation on a laptop computer to run continuously on a 32" widescreen TV driven from the s-video output of the computer. Several of the slides have attached video clips which occupy about two-thirds of the right hand part of the slide, the remaining space at the left being taken up with text and still graphics. The whole program plays perfectly on the computer screen, but on the TV screen the slide opens properly with the initial frame of the video, but the video blows up to fill the whole screen as soon as the clip begins playing. How can I get the video player to play the video clip at the same size it appears in the normal view of that slide? Thanks in advance for any assistance. This web page did have the answer. I had visited that site earlier during my approximately eight hours of searching for this information, but had missed that particular page. One mouse click on the correct radio button got rid of the problem. Another example of how simple these things are WHEN YOU KNOW. Thanks again. Until I ran into this problem I knew nothing about all these somewhat hidden features but the experience taught me a lot about comuter systems and also how effective the Intenet is in making readily available the accumulated knowledge of people all around the world.
