3 Issues with presentation mode in 2003 - any advice?

I've recently ran into a few issues when trying to use the dual monitors in
presentation mode in 2003.

The first issue that we have ran into is that if you have slides that are
animated and you skip to slide 5, then back to slide 1, sometimes the
animated text/pictures will already be up...other times it will be a clear
screen and ready for you to walk through the animations.  Is there a setup
option that clears the animation so if I were to refer to slide 1 five times
throughout the presentation I could go through the animation each time?

The second problem we are having is that the cursor (arrow) disappears. I
know it probably does this so it is not left on the screen while you're
presenting, but in order to get the arrow to reappear you have to move the
mouse to the second monitor (that the audience is watching), then back onto
your monitor....doesn't seem right.  Any advice?

Third: is it just a glich with this presentation mode that you can't use the
short cut option of pressing '5' and enter and be able to jump to the 5th
slide?

Hi Nicole for your first question see here:

Pointer - as soon as you start the presentation right click the screen >
arrow options > visible

Did that answer the question / help?
