File > send to > microsoft word
Choose "blank lines below slides"

This time I really have to say thank you. You have twice answered exactly my
question. Last time was about the Org Chart, which I feel is a real
shortfall. I would like to see more flexibility in the program. But that's
not your fault.

Another way is go into your NOTES MASTER (VIEW >> MASTER >> NOTES MASTER).
Resize your NOTES BODY AREA. Click on your drawing toolbar to select the
line tool, and draw your line. If you need even more space on the notes
page, then resize the image of your slide. Is that what you were looking for?

However, switchin to Word is a lot faster and doesn't require my handy work
at line drawing.
