I have received a PP presentation from a person in my office that has a
shadow applied to the text whenever you create a new textbox.  I have gone
into the master and made sure there is no shadow on any of the placeholders.
I have edited the font and set it as default without a shadow.  i have edited
the textbox and set is as a default without a shadow.  Yet everytime I create
a new text box in the document the shadow pops back up.  It is shadow style
14 on the shadow style cascading window down on the drawing toolbar.  I have
even opened the shadow settings and turned that off and then set the textbox
defaults.  Nothing seems to be working.

I found a work around but I need a fix.  I can edit the color scheme to
match the BG color of the slide thus eliminating the shadow since it blends
in with the slide itself.

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Maybe this is what you've already done its not clear!

Draw a rectangle (any shape would do) make sure it has no shadow (ie select
no shadow in draw >shadow). Right click and select "set autoshape defaults"

Did that answer the question / help?

Thanks for the response John, I have already tried that though...  The
default will not change for this presentation for some reason using the
normal conventional ways....
