Hello,

I have various ppt files with the same names in different folders on
the hard disk.

When using PowerPoint 2003 Package for CD I assume PowerPoint will
overwrite any files with the same name?

Cheers

Or give you a warning and let you opt not to do that.

Your homework assignment:  try it and tell us which.
Quiz tomorrow morning.

Steve,

OK! Have done and no warning given!

You may rememer that I am trying out making links to a ppt files from
the Word docs? The link works OK but is there a way of closing the
Word doc after the link has been made? Otherwise I can see multiple
doc files being left open and that may well cause problems...

Cheers

Geoff

None that I know of, but you might check in one of the various Word groups.

OK - will do.

Geoff

PS

I have just been advised that when using ctrl/k to create the
hyperlink (in Word) to a ppt file you can select Browse/Fullscreen and
then you can use the enter key etc to move from slide to slide! Bit of
a long way round!
