I finally, after reading other posts, have my slides transitioning
nicely but I just can't get that music to go from start to finish.

I told it to play until slide 32, but no, it still stops after the
title slide and starts again and same thing with each slide.

I have the 2003 version, used Audacity to cut the song down, made a
.wav file etc.

Could it be there is some sort of error that I am not aware of ?  Off
and on I have spent best part of ten days on this.  I have remade the
whole thing several times, I think I am suffering from a dose of
paranoia now :)

Any help appreciated

It sounds as if your sound is on the slide master. Instead, just put it on
slide 1 (the regular slide, not the master slide).

Between your advice and John Wilsons, all is well.  Many thanks!

If its on the master as Echo says it will keep restarting. It could laso be a
transition sound applied to all slides.

I think you originaly said it was a transition sound. If so...
1. Goto to slide transition pane > sound > no sound click apply to all slides.
2. On slide one > slide transition > sound box scroll to other sound and
navigate to your wav file THIS TIME DONT CLICK ALL SLIDES just exit.

Did that answer the question / help?

That certainly answered the question!  Success at last - I had it done
incorrectly both ways, to start with the title slide and then on the
transition I had clicked apply to all slides.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this help, many thanks!

Glad you got it sorted - did you notice Trish added a mention of the "apply
to all slides" problem!

No I didn't, but I have Trish bookmarked for if, if, I ever do another
PPP lol   This all came about because I wished to help a friend, I had
not the slightest idea what I was getting into.  Still a good learning
experience.

Thanks again, Sheena
