view last and next slide while delivering presentation

While delivering a presentation I would like to be able to view the previous
slide and the next slide on my laptop screen, while the audience is only
seeing the current slide via the projector.

You can use Presenter View to do so.
Click Slide Show > Set Up Show.
Under Multiple monitors section, select Show Presenter View.
