I subtitled a clip and inserted the avi file into Powerpoint but have trouble
with the video - the video freezes after the first screen but the audio kept
going. The clip without the subtitles played fine in Powerpoint. Any
suggestions on what could be wrong? I was able to play the subtitled clip in
Powerpoint on someone else's laptop without any problems, so there seems to
be something wrong with my Powerpoint.. Thnx in advance.

How did you add the subtitle?

I used Subtitle Workshop to create the subtitles, then used VirtualDubMod to
hardsub them onto the avi file. Again the subtitled clip in PP worked on
somebody's computer but not mine...

For simple subtitles we usually just use windows movie maker! Might be worth
downloading a fully functioning trial of "playsforcertain media" it takes a
while to run so be patient!
