About two years ago, I downloaded a great PowerPoint template from
Microsoft's website called Glass Design template.  It had a picture of a
globe mirrored across a blue-ish screen.  I have switched computers and no
longer have that template installed on this computer.

I would like to either find it and download it again, or create a template
file with one of the existing PowerPoint presentations I have so I can use it
for other presentations.  I have searched Microsoft's site and can't find the
template.

Any suggestions on how I can re-find or recreate this template to use again
would be appreciated.

Are you positive that's the name? I have one template named Glass.POT, but
it's a green thing -- no globe in sight.

I vaguely remember a template with globe and reflection in the lower right
hand corner, but darned if I can find it now on this system...

I don't know what the original file name was.  When I have a presentation
open that uses this template, I see the words "Glass design template" at the
bottom of the window.

The template has a picture of a globe on the right hand site.  The globe has
the North American continent visible as if it were a picture from outspace -
you can see mountains and clouds floating across the earth.  The globe shows
a shadow underneath it and a reflection of the globe as it it were sitting on
a blue glass table.

I figured out how to save it as a POT file so I believe I can use it in
other presentations.  If you come across that PPT template, please let me
know.

Thanks.

Here's a neat trick you might not know.

In design pane click "browse" (at the bottom) now change the "files of type"
to "presentations and shows" and browse to a saved show whose template you
want to use.

Did that answer the question / help?

Ah, yeah, if you have a presentation file, you don't really need the
separate template. You can even apply the existing presentation as a
template.

I know the template you're talking about ... however, I don't think it comes
from the Microsoft site.  I believe it may come from one of the other free
template sites, though I don't recall which one.  I just ran across it again,
not that long ago and was surprised because I had thought it was a MS one,
too.  So you may want to   hit one of the link lists for templates and look
for it.
