How do I turn 3D default off?

When I copy from Excel or Word as a picture, much of my text becomes shadowed
or 3D.  Is there a way to change the default here so that it converts exactly
as shown in the other application?

I notice this for different fonts as well.

Maybe try this.

Draw any shape say a rectangle. Make sure that" No 3D" and "no shadow" are
set. Now right click > set autoshape defaults

Sorry I red again! If its just text maybe draw a text box, add text and make
sure that format > text > shadow is off. Then as above set auto shape defaults
