Printing and dummy slides

I often include within my presentations dummy slides that do not contain any
substantive information but are put in to achieve the animation that I
require.  When I print handouts (2 or 6 per page) I would like to exclude
these.  Is there an easy way to do this?  I could, of course, make a
"printable" version of the presentation where the dummy slides are marked as
"hidden" but is there anything more elegant?

I am using Powerpoint 97 and 200.

TIA
Chris

You can specify which frame numbers to print in the "Print Range" section of
the File>Print dialogue box.  Of course that might get a little cumbersome vs
"elegant" depending on how many frames there are in your presentation and how
often you use multiple frames to accomplish your animations.

Thanks, I had forgotten that!  Not as elegant as I had hoped (I have
typically about 5 dispersed dummies per presentation) but certainly
practical.
Thanks
